Amentum is now hiring for several Security Analyst (Senior) positions in support of the Cyber Security & Information Assurance (CSIA) Support Services office at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD and Ft Belvoir, VA. This project will provide the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM), Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Research (C5ISR) Center services to include programmatic/business management services, engineering support services, field engineering, laboratory, logistics, and acquisition / administrative support services to augment CSIA core Government personnel and turn-key solutions to support the missions of CSIA and its associated Managers and customers. This support will be conducted in close coordination with Government project leads within CSIA.

The candidate will work closely with the client to perform the following:

  • The candidate will work closely with the client to perform the following:

  • Responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining an organization’s data and information.
  • Responsible for identifying vulnerabilities within systems, resolving them, and then responding to cybersecurity breaches, such as hacking, when they occur.
  • Works closely with cybersecurity engineers, who develop technical cybersecurity solutions, by providing feedback and insight into how systems can be improved. Their work can be focused on hardware, software, or any other system that cybercriminals may wish to infiltrate, bypass, or steal.
  • Identifying and fixing vulnerabilities within existing security systems
  • Performing penetration tests or working directly with penetration testers to assess potential security problems
  • Developing organization-wide security measures
  • Documenting known security breaches and vulnerabilities
  • Providing feedback to cybersecurity engineers to improve proposed or existing systems
  • Staying up-to-date on the latest information technology (IT) and cybersecurity developments
  • Conducting audits to determine security violations or vulnerabilities
  • Implementing security controls
  • Upgrading networks to cohere with industry best practices
  • Researching, testing, and implementing security technology
  • Developing firewalls for network infrastructure
  • Granting privileges to users based on their needs and use cases
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or other related field.

  • A minimum of 10 years of working experience in:

    • Information assurance, information security, or cyber security 

    • Cross domain solutions (CDS) to include: supporting CDS research and development teams building  new  technology;  supporting  DoD  programs  with  CDS  needs;  authoring  CDS documentation such as the cross domain appendix (CDA) and site test and evaluation (ST&E) plans; conducting CDS Risk Assessments in support of the Army.  

    • Program management and leadership and a background in Risk Decision Authority Criteria (RDAC) and Risk Management Framework (RMF).  

  • Must possess evidence of experience in the following: 

    • CDS Raise the Bar (RTB) requirements.

    • Confirmation candidate was on a LDS team that conducted a Raise the Bar (RTB) - Third party confirmation via a letter from NSA is required. 

    • On a research and development (R&D) team created a solution that was Raise the Bar (RTB) compliant – requires reference from a Point of contact for Project Manager providing oversight for the R&D team.  

  • Must possess cybersecurity certification in a DoD Directive 8140. (Refer to link:  https://public.cyber.mil/cwmp/dod-approved-8570-baseline-certifications/).

  • Must have an Active TOP SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a TOP SECRET Clearance. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in working for or supporting the NSA.

  • Demonstrated ability in Microsoft systems (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Past experience working in C5ISR an CSIA.

Compensation:

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $50,000 - $125,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.).
