The role of Security Architect � Cloud Security at 3M's new Health Care Company is a critical position responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the security infrastructure of their cloud-based systems and applications. Reporting to the Chief Security Architect Cybersecurity, the Security Architect will lead efforts to secure cloud environments, identify vulnerabilities, and develop solutions to mitigate risks. This role requires expertise in cloud technologies, security frameworks, configuration management, enterprise architecture, and industry best practices. Responsibilities include designing and implementing robust security architectures, collaborating with development and operations teams to integrate security measures, conducting security assessments and audits, creating and enforcing security policies, and monitoring and responding to security incidents. The successful candidate will have ten years of enterprise security architecture experience, five years of Cloud Security background with platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP, or Oracle Cloud, and may hold industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP or CCSP. Proficiency in scripting or programming languages and excellent communication skills are advantageous.
